Holy crap this movie was bad. The action scenes are just about all you really have to look forward to since the plot line’s about as thick as tissue paper. Corny acting, grainy film quality and over used sound effects. Very over used. I don’t’ know how many times I had to hear the sound of someone’s arm or leg being broken but it was about 398 times too many. What they fail to tell you in the previews is that he’s the protector of elephants. Some bad guys stole his elephant and now he’s got to get it back. The main bad guy is a woman that looks like a dude. The entire movie basically really bad acting, great stunts and martial arts scenes accompanied by more bad acting and a horrible story. Katherine, you’re movie choosing privileges have been put on suspension for two weeks.... Permalink

Especially when first thing in the morning everyone’s playing the finger pointing game. Looks like I’ll be the one left holding the ball and under the gun by the end of the day but fuck it, I can handle it. Yell all you want if it makes you feel better, there’s only so much work I can do in a day. That’s probably all I’m really able to say without possibly getting myself in even more trouble. Surfline’s forecast for the week is looking very flat. Only minor trace swells over the next few days and none of which look like they’re going to be rideable. The Atlantic looks as flat as I’ve ever seen it. This image was snagged off of our local EVS system for Boca’s South Beach Pavilion. You could almost skip a stone to the Bahamas! Ohio State opened a huge can of whoop ass over the weekend on poor little Penn State. Final score Ohio State 28, Penn State 6. Ouch, that had to hurt! I caught the second half of the game and from the looks of the score, that was the best half. Ohio State started off slow but halfway through the third quarter they really picked up steam. The fourth quarter, however, contained the real action as Ohio State caught two interceptions in a row to run back for two touchdowns in a matter of minutes in turn shutting down any change... The weekend was a good one overall. Friday remained pretty chill and Saturday was spent lounging on the beach waiting for surf, which didn’t quite show up. I was able to get in the water on Saturday for about an hour to surf tiny little knee high rollers but that was the extent of it. Saturday night was dinner in Delray at Kyoto. Sunday I was laying around on the couch after breakfast when I got the call, “Delray’s 2-4 ft and building, get your ass down here!”. Cool, so I packed up the log and hit the beach once... Yeah, quite an exciting title, eh? The surf is around knee high right now and should (hopefully) continue through the weekend as Helena sends some minor swell our way. Delray’s already breaking but I doubt I’ll be able to get to the beach today. If the weather keeps looking like it does this morning it’s going to be a great weekend to be outside. Freelance opportunities have been popping up like crazy lately and yeah, it’s a good thing. I can always use the extra money and most projects don’t take too long to complete. Mom was up late last night, staying up with Roxy (the dog next to me) because Roxy’s not doing very well. So she sent me an email letting me know what’s going on. They think her stomach turned or is turning so it may not be long. Times like these I wish I was back home to sit with the goofiest and best big puppy alive. Roxy was always such a joy to be around. Hell, I don’t know. We may have some minor wind swell later this week as Helena swings by out in the Atlantic but only time will tell. For right now the surf remains flat and poor.
