After a trip to the gym I finally had the chance to catch the 9:20pm show at Muvico in Boca. Walked into the theater and sat down about 15 minutes early, right in the middle.. even got the big row. My review, I loved it. The special effects were amazing but there were story line issues I could have done without but overall it’s going in the DVD library. Optimus prime was just plain baddass as well as Bumblebee, IronHide, Ratchet, Starscream and Megatron. Inner city destruction at it’s best. ... Permalink

And I don’t mean the record temperatures… this is Florida, it’s hot all the time. It’s summer slump time and I’m sure you’re tired of hearing about the utter lack of surf. But dammit, there’s an utter lack of surf. The air temperature has been hovering around 95 on a daily basis and the humidity makes it just plain nasty outside. A coworker showed this to me yesterday and it’ll definitely give you a sense of what’s going on in this world. Births, deaths, even the amount of cars built. Check it out and watch the time tick away. As for me, it’s a Friday which means only 8 more hours till the weekend. The only weekend plans I have so far is happy hour at the Neighborhood around 6. But it’s not. Today’s the third of July which means we all have tomorrow off. Bill even generously offered to let us wear jeans today which is always a treat. So now it’s 8 more hours and a quick mid-week holiday. No definite plans as of yet but you can bet no matter what I’m up to I’ll have the camera right there with me. This weekend was so hot it was like an oven just walking around outside. At one point I looked up at my rear-view mirror’s thermometer and noticed it reading 101 degrees. Holy crap, that’s hot. I spent a little time by the pool, hanging out with Jamie and actually hit the gym but overall I tried to stay indoors. No surf appeared over the weekend leaving me dreaming once again. The forecast is looking as flat as usual this time of year. A couple more months and we’ll be in business but until then start looking for another hobby all... Continue Reading

Friday promised to be a long freakin’ day and it definitely was. Bill, Michelle and I flew over to Tampa for a meeting. They picked me up at my house at 7:30 am then headed to Ft. Lauderdale for our flight out. Our flight was slightly delayed but we made it in time. The meeting was an all day thing but it went well.
