I’ve been doing some work on a site featuring Nascar and other motorsports for the last week or so and yesterday I was reminded of all those things I loved about…. the mullet. Is there no end to their humor? I submit that there is not. In doing some research I came across a site I haven’t seen in over 7 years. <a href=“http://www.mulletsgalore.com/“ target=“_blank”>Mulletsgalore.com</a> – you’ve got to take a few minutes and just go through some of the mullet classifications. We don’t see too many mullets here in Palm Beach, though on occasion you will see one or two of the bizzarre species. When ever I see em’, I always try and snap a pic though the phone pics never seem to do the real thing any justice.... Permalink

Yeah, you heard it right. I’m still in the process of getting my flight together but it looks like I’ll have to endure the bitter cold of Ohio for an entire weekend. It’ll be for good cause though as my buddy Tyler is latching on that ball and chain. Though I hate the cold, I’m still stoked to see my friends and family. Yeah, sorry guys. I’ve been slacking off a bit from the blog but to be honest there isn’t much going on at the moment. At least nothing worth writing about. This weekend was a car show in Palm Beach, which I had every intention of going to but due to drinking too much on Friday night, and working all day on Sunday on freelance stuff I pretty much spent the entire weekend at home. Real exciting. Friday was as most Friday’s have been. Happy hour, dinner and drinks at Rocco’s then off to O’Shea’s for pool. At least it’s beginning... Continue Reading

A weird site for Palm Beach this morning as I could barely see the other side of the building from my place. Foggy foggy. At least it’s not supposed to rain and it looks as though the weather’s going to turn around for the better over the weekend. Finally some sun! There may also be some small wind chop this weekend so we’re all crossing our fingers for that one. Last weekend’s surf left much to be desired. The last few days around here have pretty much been gloomy. Cloudy all day and rain from time to time. Sunday’s surf session was a mess as the wind was strong out of the north creating some pretty sloppy conditions. I decided to stay in Palm Beach and surf Flagpole, even convinced Pat to come up and join me. Over about 2 hours in the water I probably caught 5 or 6 real rides. The drift was so bad that we only made two trips around. Walk north… drift south… walk north…drift south. It was definetly wet suit weather though.... Continue Reading

So finally it’ Friday (I have no idea how many times I’ve said that over the years but everyone loves Fridays). The end to a long and stressful week and it’s about damn time. I took some time over this week after work to get back into things that I enjoy, instead of sitting around the pad going over numbers and turning my hair gray. And God knows I need it. It’ll be a welcome relief to finally get back in the water after such a stressfull last few weeks. Yeah, to add to my most recent stress it’s review time, ladies and gentlemen. I’ve been working here at THAT Agency in Palm Beach for over a year now and to be honest this is the first review I’ve ever had an “iffy” feeling about. Not that I’ve been doing a bad job as I bill as much as the next guy, I get my jobs completed on-time and with little correction.
