And does anyone really care? Yeah, of course. Those poor people who only have a birthday every 4 years. I actually went to high school with one. We used to tease her and say she was only 4 years old because she’d only had four birthdays. Her name was Amy Grey though I doubt that’s her name any more as EVERYONE back home is either married, divorced or has at least two kids. It’s always amazing what happens when you look back at the people you (kind of) grew up with. So, happy 7th birthday Amy Grey, or whatever your last name is now. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the obvious… IT’S FRIDAY!!!!! And not a moment too soon....

Yeah, so this week’s been super busy so far. So much in fact I could have sworn yesterday was Thursday. I’ve got Thursday and Friday deadlines for a major client and we’re still trying to get things under control on both ends. So, needless to say I’ve been busting my ass to make things happen, hence the lack of updates this week. As far as the weekend went, it was excellent. Relaxing and enjoyable in almost ever way. Spent some time by the pool, caught Dom Irerra at the Improv on Saturday night and went out for happy hour on...

So far this has been one disappointing winter when it comes to surf. Weeks without good waves and the forecast is still bleak. The days are finally beginning to get a bit longer so here’s hoping that March has some swells to cure our waveless blues....

Ok, so I watch some stupid morning news show every morning purely for the weather. And, since it’s the only one that seems to have the local weather (on Dish) it’s pretty much my only choice. So, since when did American Idol become local freakin’ news? Is this really all they have to offer? Are there really that many brain dead American Idol watchers out there just looking for that next train wreck. If you know me at all you’ll know that I loath so called reality TV in all it’s ignorance. Get off the TV, the only reason people...

First of all let me congratulate both Tyler and Fayre. You made it. May you have a long and happy life together. The entire weekend was about as fun as could get back home without being illegal. I arrived on Friday night and drove straight over to Mom’s house for a visit. I don’t get to see Mom enough so the trip was a good one as usual. After I left it was another hour on the road but I was able to meet up with the crew up at AliveOne in Mt. Adams. Seth is still around kicking so...

Last day in the office until Monday. Lot’s of photos will be taken and many many drinks will be consumed. Hopefully I’ll get to see everyone I can but I’m sure I’ll miss a few. I’ll fill you guys in all the fun upon my return. Until then, I’ve got the photos from last week up here!...

t was a long three day weekend but it was well worth it. I’ll have photos up hopefully this evening if I have time. I never seem to take enough photos when friends come into town and it may be some time before I get to see ole’ Joey again. To make up for taking Monday off I’m working an extra 3 hours a night for the next three days (since I’m also taking off Friday for Ty’s wedding). On top of that I’ve got to organize a tux for the big show… in Cincinnati… from West Palm Beach. This...

Overall it was a fairly uneventful weekend. Did the Friday night thing and got some work done over the weekend. Sunday was actually nice enough to collect some sun by the pool before the big game. A handful of us went over to Dean’s house for the big game. Beers and good South African food. Melipuft? Yeah, South African grits….yum? Anyway, right before the game was set to start the cable went out everywhere! Boca, Delray, the entire place. Luckily Dean’s dad’s place is right across the street and he’s got a monster of a tv. 85″ projection screen in...

Yeah, I know it’s Superbowl weekend and everything and yeah, I should be writing a weekend blog about that but to be honest I’m not really that stoked. I’d like to see the Patriots win just to say they went undefeated but that’s about it. I’m more stoked about my buddy Joe coming down next Friday, from Chicago. The last time I saw this guy was in 2005 (I had to look it up!) and the next time I’ll get to see him may be never. He’s contemplating moving to New Zealand in a month or two, which is cool...
