It’s back and flat Keirra Knightly out there. I’ve been checking the upcoming surf forecast and there’s not much more than a ripple any time soon for South Florida. No surf. It looks like the summer doldrums are here to stay. At least for the next week anyway. I always hate this time of year. The airs hot and sticky and almost oven like, not much wind and unless you’re out at the beach or chilling by the pool there’s really not much reason to get out of the house. The next little bit of surf we’ll probably get is going to be either a tropical storm or the next big hurricane. Just keep it off shore a few miles and I’ll grin from ear to ear with the rest of the wave starved South Florida Surfers. Till then I’ll just sit back and watch my surf DVD’s and dream of a 6ft and glassy day in Delray. ...

Yup, it’s that time of year again. I made a doctor’s appointment to get ye old physical this morning and Bill said just to take half a day. So after sitting in a room for a few in a white backless gown, I decided to treat myself to what was left of yesterday’s surf. Surf was breaking about 1-3 and longboardable (long-board-able). Luckily I left the logs in my ride from last night so the trip was a breeze. There wasn’t anyone out at all, just me so I caught about 35 nice little rides in an hour. As the...

I was as shocked as you when I heard the new yesterday. Well, maybe not. The wind’s changed direction and churned up some nice little wind chop for us to ride. I took my little brother Mike out for his first time on a surfboard. The hardest part about the first day of surfing is just paddling and sitting on the board. You really can’t do much more than that, and even that’s a challenge. He did pretty good, almost paddling into one wave and getting plowed under by another. In the end he drank too much salt water and...

Well it wasn’t a huge to-do but my little bro’s now a year older. That’ll be his last teenage birthday. I got him a Quicksilver backpack and a pair of Quicksilver sandals for the beach though the sandals came out a bit too big. Good thing the store’s only four blocks away. Dinner was delicious and so was the cake and ice-cream. Thanks to Trish for ordering the cake, that was sweet… and yeah, I gave him a big birthday hug for you, Dale. Big brother style. ...

Today’s my little brother turns 19! Happy birthday Mike. He came down to stay with me for the summer about a week ago. So far I’m sure he’s been bored out of his skull as every kid out of college is looking for the same part-time job. I live in a fairly active area full of shops and restaurants but no one’s really hiring for the summer months yet. I’m sure he’ll find something soon. In the meantime, relax bro. Chill by the pool and relax. I’m taking the big guy to lunch today and Trish’s going to cook us...

Trish, Mike and I made the trek down to Dan and Mary’s house to see the little one tonight. What a gorgeous little baby. Blonde hair so tiny. Dan let me hold her for quite some time. So little and so precious. Trish just went to jell-o and had to hold her as well. Dan actually snapped off a few photos of us with Keala (hope I spelled that right). Pronounced K-eee-ah-la. I’ll post-em up as soon as they come in. Dan’s such a proud papa, it really shows. He’s going to be such a great Dad. Papas little girl,...

Just caught the sunset last night after a half a day of solid rain. Looks like summer is finally here and so it’s tempermental weather patterns. Rain for a few hours and then sunshine. Seems like every morning is beautiful, though hot, and every evening is cloudy and rainy. Tough to get the grill going in the rain. Hopefully this weekend will clear up enough to enjoy the sunshine once again. ...

Imagine the world without cancer. It has been proven that cancer is a deficiency disease caused by the lack of Vitamin B17 (Laetrile). Today there are more people making money from cancer than dying from it. That is the one of the main reasons why Vitamin B17 is disapproved by FDA and cancer associations. You can do research and find that pharmaceuticals companies pushed FDA to disallow sales of raw apricot seeds in the United States. Raw apricot seeds are known to have abundance of B17 vitamin. There is lots of money to make from patented drugs and if we...
