Yeah, I know some of you couldn’t care less about a new browser being introduced. Well, it’s not new but man is it improved. I’ve always been a big fan of Firefox (and if you know me at all I loath and despise Internet Explorer to no end). Today they’re going for the world record in software downloads for a single day. Here’s the big announcment. Also here is a list of the top 10 improvements for my favorite web browser. So click here and get your brand spankin’ new browser today! Mike arrived safe and sound around 3pm today. He’s beginning to settle in nicely. Trish made us both dinner tonight and we all went over the “basic” ground rules. Looks like he did a ton of legwork today collecting job applications from half of the restaurants in downtown West Palm. After dinner we took him down to the beach to get the night view of the weekend hotspot for kids his age. I’m sure he’ll take no time at all getting a job down here but for now I’m just trying to get him to relax and enjoy south Florida.... Continue Reading

Now this is sweet. I’m more of an Audi fan when it comes to luxury European cars but this one’s something to see. It completely challenges the notion of “body” to a sports car. Though it’ll never see the light of day as far as production is definitely worth the three minute video. So reminenscent of an Apple product (in my mind anyway). My sister, Sheizka, left late last night on her long road trip down to visit me. She’s due to arrive around 10pm tonight. They were going to leave at 4am this morning but I explained to her that it’ a bit further than 14 hours to get to me. The last time I did the drive (4 years ago) it over 20, though I did go through Knoxville and Atlanta which greatly increased the drive time. I’m sure they’ll get here closer to 10 now that they left a bit earlier. Hopefully they’ll arrive early enough for me to show... Continue Reading

All day long I couldn’t help but think about the new iPhone that was just announced. I’ve been waiting 9 or so long months for the newest iteration of the awe inspiring iPhone. Geez, what a long wait for a phone… and I still don’t have one yet. I’ve got a guy on the inside over at the AT&T store that said he’d yank one off the shelf for me as soon as they arrive and give Trish a call (it’s her cousin) and let me know. Ah, such a nice weekend though it’s definitely beginning to feel like summer for sure. Friday was Rocco’s birthday party down at Rocco’s Tacos. Trish and I cooked out with a few of my neighbors down by the pool before heading down to Rocco’s to wish him a happy one. The place was packed as always and Rocco was in rare form. Happy birthday man! Saturday was spent out in the water surfing. 2-3 foot rollers in West Palm and then off to Deerfield with my bro, Dan. Yeah, it’s that time of year again when all we get are little rollers and the only board you need is 8 foot or bigger. I took my Robert August down to Flagpole here in West Palm for an hour or so and caught a surprising number of rides. Every one just as much fun as the last. Not too fast or punchy but just right for the log. No one else could really catch much so I just cruised through the pack with a grin on my face every time.
