Little Bro’s In

Mike arrived safe and sound around 3pm today. He’s beginning to settle in nicely. Trish made us both dinner tonight and we all went over the “basic” ground rules. Looks like he did a ton of legwork today collecting job applications from half of the restaurants in downtown West Palm.

After dinner we took him down to the beach to get the night view of the weekend hotspot for kids his age. I’m sure he’ll take no time at all getting a job down here but for now I’m just trying to get him to relax and enjoy south Florida.

It’s a girl! Not sure exactly when or how big the little on is but Ramil and I just got text messages from the now proud papa. Huge congratulations to the new family and I can’t wait to see her.

BMW’s Shape Shifting Car

Now this is sweet. I’m more of an Audi fan when it comes to luxury European cars but this one’s something to see. It completely challenges the notion of “body” to a sports car. Though it’ll never see the light of day as far as production is definitely worth the three minute video. So reminenscent of an Apple product (in my mind anyway).

She’s On Her Way

My sister, Sheizka, left late last night on her long road trip down to visit me. She’s due to arrive around 10pm tonight. They were going to leave at 4am this morning but I explained to her that it’ a bit further than 14 hours to get to me. The last time I did the drive (4 years ago) it over 20, though I did go through Knoxville and Atlanta which greatly increased the drive time. I’m sure they’ll get here closer to 10 now that they left a bit earlier. Hopefully they’ll arrive early enough for me to show them around a bit and grab a bite to eat when they get here.

So, drive safe Sis, I’ll see you soon.
