Yeah, that’s right, I’m an Obama supporter thru and thru. I’m pretty stoked to have him as our Democratic candidate though I’m also somewhat terrified of the very real possibility of assassination.
He’s a very high profile and idealistic candidate that I can’t help but put in the same category as such political greats as John F. Kennedy and I certainly hope he doesn’t go the way of Kennedy in the end.
I’m sure there are members of my family that greatly disagree with me but hey, that’s their opinion. This is mine. I’ve got so many friends and family affected by the current economic struggle, myself included at times that at some point there comes time to take another look at how this country is actually being run, not just how we live our lives from day to day. It effects us whether we realize it or not.
George Bush is and has always been a complete moron and we all know Cheney’s been pulling the strings since day one. Hell, he’s already won the “Worst President in History” award. McCain, c’mon do we really need a guy like this in the big house? The only reason he chose a woman as his running mate was to gain some support in his already dwindling poll popularity.
Nah, I’m not about to bite on that one. I’m not here to change your minds, I’m hear to speak mine. I think he (Obama) can do it and I hope he does because if it comes down to another four years of this bullshit, then I think we’re all in for a world of turmoil.
Screw Gustav, Hanna’s My Girl

Here are the projected paths of both Gustav and Hanna. Gustav looks to do some serious damage to an already downtrodden New Orleans. Hanna, however looks like she’s going to give us some much needed surf. C’mon baby, just stay off the coast and send some swell our way. We as South Florida surfers are wave starved!
My buddy Dan wanted to take a day trip to the west coast to surf Gustav but because it’s a holiday there’s no way for him to get out of work. The Surfline forecast says epic but also mentions the need to be courteous to our west coast neighbors because no matter how wave starved we are over here, those poor souls never get surf.
For right now my eye’s on Hanna. If the swell are good I’m going to take a vacation day and head up-coast or down to Delray. Bring on the Surf!

Over A Month Later

Over a month after having the iPhone I’m still playing with it. The App (application) store has grown to thousands upon thousands of games, utilities, applications and software. I’ve gone through about 45 so far myself though admittedly, I only keep a handful of my favorites on the iPhone. There’s a lot of crap in the App Store as well but that’s to be expected.
So far only two things are REALLY lacking with the iPhone. The ability to copy and paste, which is being developed by third party vendors, and the ability to receive images within a text message. Sounds simple and almost every other phone out there does it.
One more quick tip for all of those iPhone users out there.
When you get constant application crashes over and over it probably means you just need to hard reboot the phone. Hold down the top button and the home button down for at least 6 seconds until the shut down screen comes up. Slide the slider over and shut down. Then hit the top button again and bring it back to life. Problem should be solved and if not you may want to do a full restore.

My bro Joe Pollitzer is officially a New Zealander. Ok, so he’s not really officially a New Zealander.
He made the big move to the other side of the Earth on Friday. Looks like it’s going to be awhile before I get to hang out the kid again. I’m gonna miss you bro, keep in touch and take care of yourself.
