Basically it examines all of the text on the site/page and creates a word cloud image.

West Palm is 63 Degrees of Cool

Posted on October 29, 2008

Ah, I absolutely love the weather lately. The last two days it’s been so nice outside, nothing above 68 degrees and sunny, oh so sunny. I had to dig out the suede jacket, awesome. It’s a little too chilly to go to the beach but the boys, Dan and Ramil have been hitting the surf the last few days and I’m sure they’re trying so hard not to rub it in.

Only a couple downsides to the weather; I’m quickly running out of daylight to surf after work and my wrist has been throbbing and aching like I just broke it (again).

Hopefully we’ll get another surf bump over the weekend so us 9-6ers get a chance to catch a few rides. Here’s hoping.

Negative Propaganda

Posted on October 29, 2008

As far as political motivation I’m not easily swayed by negative ad campaigns and yes, even those sent by family members…. so stop sending them. I’ve made my decision based on what knowledge I’ve researched, past history and my extreme hatred of George Bush (f*ckin moron).

I’ve always voted Democrat, and hopefully always will – even though the party has it’s downfalls it’s still better than being unemployed again, remember 2002? I can’t stand McCain’s obvious ploy in choosing Sara Palin for Vice President. I’m pretty sure she’s just about as stupid as Bush and if they make it to office and the old guy croaks, guess what we’re left with. The fact that Obama has experience with the Muslim community may actually quell some anger in the middle east instead of fuel it. And if you’re just plain racist, then that’s your problem, not mine.

Anyway, this is just my opinion and MY voice. I don’t need negative propaganda, just a change.

If I’ve offended anyone, I’m deeply sorry but sometimes you just have to rant. I can’t wait for this Tuesday to be over. Honestly I’m just about sick of it.

Moonfest 2008

Posted on October 28, 2008

That’s right another Moonfest has come and gone, costumes and all. After spending almost two hours in the hell that is the costume store, it was almost time to get dressed. Right after the Ohio State game (loss) of course.

Fun fun time, lots of photos and what not. You can check them all out here. It was a pretty good time and by the end of the night the memories were replaced by snapshots from the trusty Canon. Gotta love digital photos!

    Damien Komala - web designer

I'm a seasoned 33 year old web designer originally from Cincinnati (born in Wilmington) and now living in West Palm Beach. I specialize in high-end PHP and CSS sites as well as fully functional Wordpress and E-commerce sites for various clients.

Even though I'm from Ohio I'm a die hard South Florida Surfer and beach guy. I picked up the sport over five years ago and never looked back. Any chance I get I'm in the water, which is sometimes rare considering that South Florida is fairly inconsistent with surf. Those days we do get are always a great gift.
