And even though they’re extremely cool and extremely fast I’m holding off until they release the 17″ version. I’ve been on a 17″ laptop now for six years and I don’t think downgrading my already limited screen real estate to a 15″ is an option. New graphics cards, larger hard drives, better memory and a shiny new LCD screen. Here I sit wiping the drool from my MacHead mouth but I’ll wait. Mmmm MacBook Pro….... Permalink

It’s about that time of the year for my Mom’s annual migration down to south for a visit. She’s been staying at a friend’s house on Marco Island all week and today she’s making her way over to visit me for a couple days. Plans so far are to take her around downtown West Palm, maybe do happy hour after work, take her to the beach and at least one really nice dinner somewhere in City Place.... Permalink

I know Mom would probably kill me (and I’d quite possibly kill myself) but I’ve always wanted a bike. This is a Kawasaki Z-1000. The Z-750 looks pretty much the same and more than likely if I got one that’s what I’d get since I’ve never owned a bike before. Probably don’t want to overdo it right off the bat. Ah, I’ve been threatening to shave my head for some time now and this weekend I finally did it and it feels so good. Even though I really don’t need glasses I got those too, mostly for computer work as I spend hours and hours in front of my laptop during the day and they’re supposed to take the strain off of my eyes. Well it’s finally here and it seems like I haven’t stopped since Monday morning. Non-stop work or something and I’m exhausted. Nine hours in the office during the day and working about two or three hours every night on various things takes it’s toll. I’m sure I’ll be at it over the weekend but hopefullly it wont’ be the breakneck speed at which I’ve been busting my ass as of late. I wish I could say we got to see the show but Sunday night just wasn’t happening for us. Trish recently purchased tickets to the show. Hell, she bought them a couple months ago and we were looking forward to the show. Lewis Black is by far one of my favorite comedians and he was playing in the grand venue of the Kravitz Center here in West Palm.
