Ah That Felt Good
After two really good nights in the gym I woke up last night with a huge knot in between my shoulder blades. So sore and uncomfortable even three Advil PM’s had trouble knocking me out. So today I broke down and got a massage down at the Sanctuary downstairs from my office. Just a half an hour rough massage and I’m feeling so much better though I’m still fairly sore. I got an older latin woman who I could barely understand but oh man did it feel good. Yes, I even checked “deep massage” on the little pre-massage sheet. I really needed that. My goal is to lose about 5-7 lbs. before the end of the year. Not that I need to but I’m up to 185 lbs. and I notice the difference. I weighed 180 when lived in Mt. Adams at 25 years old, I was 174 when I moved down four years ago and now I’m back over 180. Eh, it’s a goal. Now if I could just find a vinyasa yoga studio around here with classes after 6pm then I’d be set.... Permalink

Internet Explorer (6) Sucks: Please Upgrade
Ok, so I added some CSS late last month that basically makes any image in site (aside from CSS imagery) appear in black and white if you’re looking at my site in IE6. Sorry about that but really, how hard is it to upgrade your browser? If you want an easy upgrade hit up Firefox, my favorite.... Permalink

It’s Election Night!
As all of you are probably aware tonight’s the big election. Who will get the privilege of running this great (yet corrupt) country of ours. So, sit back, grab a beverage and let’s get this thing sorted out. I’ll be happy if Obama wins for sure but I’ll still be happy once it’s finally all over. McCain’ll probably f*ck things up more than they already are and if that’s the case then I’m moving to Costa Rica. Screw this. I’m not going to be giving up to the minute reporting but I’ll be glued to the tube like the rest... Continue Reading

Unknown Error on the iPhone: Update
Ok so as this seems to be the most popular entry in my blog I thought I’d write a short follow-up. The unknown error on the iPhone 3g “Unknown Error: 0xE800002E” was an issue with updating applications from the Apple App store. The error occurs when there seems to be some conflict between the old app and the updated version and iPhone just spit back an “Unknown Error: 0xE800002E” and refused to let the app to load unless you unloaded it and reloaded the new applications. The problem with this method, of course, is that all data within that application... Continue Reading

New 17″ MacBook Pro?
Apple has yet to release the “real” new 17″ MacBook Pro along side the latest iterations of the MacBook line. If you remember though, the original 17″ MacBook didn’t come out until a few months after the initial release of the 13″ and 15″ models so hopefully we’ll see the 17 come out early next year. So far the research I’ve found is pointing at January 2009 or just after. It looks like Apple’s running into screen and drive issues but I’m sure they’ll sort it out in time (I hope). I plan on waiting until then for sure as... Continue Reading

Not Much Surf
I guess to add insult to injury there’s not much surf on the horizon. I know all you Ohio people up there could probably care less as to whether or not I’ve got surf, right? Actually I’m kind of writing this post just to move the Moonfest post off the front page without removing it from the blog. Lame, I know. Trouble in Trish-ville once again as my “poor relationship communication skills” come into play once again. Honesty seems a bit overrated today but eh, maybe I’ll find an outlet for my misery. So I guess I’ll head to the... Continue Reading

Halloween Weekend and Damn Daylight Savings Time
I survived another Halloween weekend simply riddled with drama and now to add insult to injury I have to walk home in the dark because of freakin’ Daylight Savings Time. I really hate this time of year, the days are too short and even though the weather down here doesn’t change too drastically it feels even more like winter and I begin to feel depressed. No surf after work, no way. Not enough time before sundown. Now my only chance of catching some surf is on the weekends and even then it seems like a mission any more. I spent... Continue Reading
