Beerfest was Fun

We met Georgianna and Bryan down in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday night for a pretty good time. I was a little surprised that it was just little cups of beer everywhere but they did have frog legs and catfish which made my new girl very happy, haha. We made the mistake of finding the (shit) vodka booth and I think we can all agree that was a mistake.

Afterwords we hit a little bar in Deerfield for a couple. The Sunday hangover sucked hardcore and even sitting by the pool didn’t seem to help.

Thanks to Jo and Bryan for inviting us down, we had a great time. Unfortunately we didn’t take in photos with my camera but Jo got a few.

Big Weekend Coming Up

Beerfest

Well, at least a planned weekend coming up. Saturday we’re heading down to Ft. Lauderdale for the ever popular BeerFest with Georgainna and Brian (and whoever else feels like joining us) which should be a pretty good time. We’ve got VIP tickets so we don’t have to necessarily deal with the masses. I’ll have to curb the binge drinking a bit since it’s all the way down there but I’m looking forward to hanging out with Jo and hubby for a day of beer appreciation.

Sunday is dinner with friends at an Indian Restaurant which I’m really looking forward to as well since I have yet to find a good Indian restaurant down here. In between I’m sure they’ll be some pool time and just general relaxation so… bring on the weekend.

Tonight is happy hour with THAT Agency in celebration of our newest client. Hopefully they don’t mind if I bring along the little gypsy. I doubt they will.

No plans for Friday night but I usually like to play it by ear if I can.

Sunsets Are Back

April Sunsets

I know, I know, they never really go away but my place faces north and the U-shaped building I live in kind of faces west so half of the year I miss out on sunsets. The seasons do change and the sun does move and to tell you the truth, I’m pretty stoked it’s back. Sun-rises too, just as they peak over the building I catch a nice morning ray or two while sipping coffee on the balcony.

Happy Easter Weekend

It was another great weekend, so much so I’m feeling somewhat delirious this morning from it all, and not the normal Monday morning fog. Friday Night I stayed in and decided to save all of my energy for the remainder of the weekend.

Saturday morning was poolside at Highland Beach with my buddy Vince and his girl Annette. Saturday night I hung out with that stunning girl I met Monday morning and it was fantastic.

Yesterday was pretty lazy – had dinner over at a neighbor’s house then back home to completely pass out so overall a great weekend.

Distracted

As usual I’m going to try and not get too detailed about my “personal life” on here, haha. Try. Lately I’ve been, at the very least, distracted. Very distracted but in a good way.

It’s amazing what a chance meeting on the street can bring you.
