My daily ride consists of heading over to the beach and taking a look at the surf, though I have no idea when I’ll have a chance to get back in the water again. I have yet to try out getting a ride over. To be honest the surf hasn’t really warranted time off of work and begging for a ride over with the board. The surf season is upon us though so I’m sure it’ll happen soon enough. The last time I was in the water I tweaked my lower back a over a month ago. Currently it’s just wind chop out of the south so mostly rights (when you drop into a “right”, you go right on the wave). I’m a goofy footer so I always prefer lefts, haha.... Permalink

Over the past week there’s been a rash of robberies and thefts…in my building! Yesterday Matthew found out his car was stolen from the lower garage. It’s behind two separate security gates! A handful of cars that were either unlocked or the sunroofs were open were also rummaged through including Zack and Dina’s cars. What the hell is going on around here. The police arrested some asshole who was breaking into cars in another downtown condo building and they seem to think he (and probably his friends) are the culprits. I know it’s almost a week late but last weekend I had some surprise company crash at my house on their way down to Ft. Lauderdale. My real father’s wife and her daughter spent the night at my place on Saturday night. It was good to hang out with you guys. Hope you enjoyed your trip and made it home safely.... Permalink

Some psychotic on the 7th is going at it again, this time beating the crap out of his girlfriend. Yelling and screaming at 8am this morning. The front desk even had to call the cops. What the hell is going on around here?! I don’t want a maniac like that as a neighbor and no one, NO ONE should ever hit a woman. Hate people like that, go shoot yourself asshole. Hopefully he found his way to a nice comfy jail cell by now.... Permalink

Long time no write, I know. Sorry about that guys. I’ve been busy with trying to get work done, no gym, no yoga lately because of an odd shoulder injury. Not sure what happened but my left should has been bothering me lately so I’ve been taking it easy on the workout routine. One great piece of news though, I got a new client out of Washington state that promises to send me as much work as possible. …now if it works I’ll be happy. Lately my (beloved) iPhone has been going to sleep and not coming back without a hard reboot. Such a pain, and it even used to happen during phone calls. Which was odd since I couldn’t even hang up once the call was done. The new 3.1.2 update promises to fix this little annoying issue (along with some others). So I’m running the update as I type. It’s only 9 am and already the humidity is over 80%. As soon as you walk outside it feels like you stepped into a sauna. Everything’s sticky and the air is super thick. What happened to the cooler temperatures? Guess like the snow birds they haven’t quite made their way down here yet. No surf, no wind and oven-like temperatures. Welcome to South Florida… still somehow stuck on the summer setting.... Permalink

Matt and Bambi are now the very proud parents of a baby girl. Congratulations guys. I know it’s a little late but their new little bundle of joy was born over the weekend in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday night. Of course I was a bit mushy for the occasion but it’s all good. I got the video of her right after she was born around 1:52 am. Matt says she’s got a good set of lungs on her already.
