Choppy Surf

My daily ride consists of heading over to the beach and taking a look at the surf, though I have no idea when I’ll have a chance to get back in the water again. I have yet to try out getting a ride over. To be honest the surf hasn’t really warranted time off of work and begging for a ride over with the board. The surf season is upon us though so I’m sure it’ll happen soon enough.

The last time I was in the water I tweaked my lower back a over a month ago.

Currently it’s just wind chop out of the south so mostly rights (when you drop into a “right”, you go right on the wave). I’m a goofy footer so I always prefer lefts, haha.

Crime Spree

Over the past week there’s been a rash of robberies and thefts…in my building! Yesterday Matthew found out his car was stolen from the lower garage. It’s behind two separate security gates! A handful of cars that were either unlocked or the sunroofs were open were also rummaged through including Zack and Dina’s cars. What the hell is going on around here.

The police arrested some asshole who was breaking into cars in another downtown condo building and they seem to think he (and probably his friends) are the culprits.

There’s still no clear guilty party and we still don’t know exactly when they stole poor little Matthew’s car. Hopefully the security cams in the garage can shed some light.

In the meantime there’s not much I can do to keep my motorcycle safe in the garage. I guess my only hope is they’re too retarded to know how to ride a motorcycle. I always lock the front wheel to the left so unless they break it, they can’t ride it out. It still doesn’t keep them from lifting the damn thing into someone’s truck but at least that’s a bit more of a mission. I thought about getting Lo-Jack but that’s like a grand, which I don’t have right now.

I say bring back the nightly security guards in the garage. Otherwise we’ll have to do a neighborhood watch program of some sort. Time for some vigilante justice.

Overnight Company Last Weekend

I know it’s almost a week late but last weekend I had some surprise company crash at my house on their way down to Ft. Lauderdale. My real father’s wife and her daughter spent the night at my place on Saturday night. It was good to hang out with you guys. Hope you enjoyed your trip and made it home safely.

Psychotic on the 7th Floor

Some psychotic on the 7th is going at it again, this time beating the crap out of his girlfriend. Yelling and screaming at 8am this morning. The front desk even had to call the cops. What the hell is going on around here?! I don’t want a maniac like that as a neighbor and no one, NO ONE should ever hit a woman. Hate people like that, go shoot yourself asshole.

Hopefully he found his way to a nice comfy jail cell by now.

What’s Up?

Long time no write, I know. Sorry about that guys. I’ve been busy with trying to get work done, no gym, no yoga lately because of an odd shoulder injury. Not sure what happened but my left should has been bothering me lately so I’ve been taking it easy on the workout routine.

One great piece of news though, I got a new client out of Washington state that promises to send me as much work as possible. Not quite my usual freelance rate but it’s consistent so it adds a heir of stability to my life that has been lacking as of late.

The weather down here’s been awesome lately as well. Cool and crisp, in the mid 50’s yesterday but decidedly overcast. Kind of a trade off I guess. We do have surf but I haven’t made it to the beach yet with the board. Hopefully over the next few days I’ll have the chance to get down there.

The weekend was typical for around here though no pool time for me, just a couple nights out.

…and that’s pretty much it. Up early this morning so I can make my 9am deadline tomorrow for the new client.
