Alex and I busted our asses over the weekend and both of our three person teams came in 3rd in our classes. I’m honestly really proud of my team and especially proud of Alex for doing such a great job.
That’s a strong little girl I have there. She was a beast on the row and really gave it her all.
I left everything I had on the floor on Saturday. I didn’t hold anything back and went for broke on every round. Fuck it, that’s what competition is for and we competed hard as hell.
Even though I was on a scaled team, the workout WOD’s were hard as hell. There’s no way I could have competed with the RX teams. Those guys are beasts, some power cleaning over 300 pounds off the deck. My max is only 235 which I couldn’t even hit. I was too “in my head” about it.
Cool thing is we now have loads of videos, photos and great memories from the event. Facebook was on fire for the first few hours after the battle was over.
