Busy and Thinking Positive

Whew, the last week has been busy, exciting and overall pretty positive. I must apologize for the lack of updates over the last week, my focus has been set primarily on getting things done, projects, personal projects and networking.

Freelance estimates are out, projects are coming in and I’m happy. I’m determined to make the best of this situation and do more than just stay afloat. It’s time to do something really great with my life, nothing breeds motivation like necessity.

So, in the interim this blog may suffer a bit as far as daily updates, but stay tuned on my Twitter feed if you long for a day in the life of Damien. I’ll be linking up professional articles, new projects as well as what kind of oatmeal I had this morning (well, may not but you the idea).

Also, if any of you out there know someone who needs some web help, by all means send them over to my portfolio site. If a project comes out of a referral I’ll see what I can do about setting up a finders fee-like payment.

Alright, 8:14 and it’s time to get to it. Stay tuned!

    Damien Komala - web designer

I'm a seasoned 33 year old web designer originally from Cincinnati (born in Wilmington) and now living in West Palm Beach. I specialize in high-end PHP and CSS sites as well as fully functional Wordpress and E-commerce sites for various clients.

Even though I'm from Ohio I'm a die hard South Florida Surfer and beach guy. I picked up the sport over five years ago and never looked back. Any chance I get I'm in the water, which is sometimes rare considering that South Florida is fairly inconsistent with surf. Those days we do get are always a great gift.

The blog itself is primary here to communicate with family and friends. If you're looking for my professional site you can go to http://www.mynameisdamien.com/ for a full resume, portfolio and blog.
