It actually turned out pretty cool. Friday night before I got to hang out with Vinny, Annette, George and Frank over at Vinny’s place. The rest of the evening was a bit of a bummer but that’s how it goes. Saturday night was a lot of fun. We hit Roxy’s new rooftop bar on our way to Lost Weekends. The rooftop bar was very cool; actually made you feel like you in the city. I ended up running into a couple stunners who recognized me from Halloween as the SWAT guy. I guess I made an impression because they weren’t the only ones to bring up that costume that night. From there we pretty much bounced around Clematis. I had to stop into Rocco’s since Stacy said she had a shot waiting for me. Can’t let that go to waste. I ran into Rocco who gave me a full bottle of Patron for my birthday. Awesome, thanks Rocco! Rocco’s, Lost Weekends, Feelgoods, Monarchy, Roxy’s upstairs and Down and who knows where else we went. It was a great time!...

The weekend was a pretty good compared to how they have been going. I got a chance to hang out with Vinny for a change. Football, pizza, sushi, beer and tequila… just how it should be. No drama, no issues. Just a nice little weekend. Sunday was a good morning for a ride so Jamie and I headed out west once again to the Shell station on B-Line highway. This morning was torrential downpours but it looks as though the rain has cleared up. Not sure if there’s any more in the forecast but currently the weather is beautiful. 79...

A Mass to celebrate the life of Joseph M. Politzer, age 32, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, in the chapel at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. On Nov. 22, 2009, while on an extended trip through Southeast Asia, Mr. Politzer lost his life in a tragic motorbike accident. From a young age, Joe wanted to travel and see the world. After attending the University of Cincinnati, he realized that a traditional career would not satisfy his passion for travel and adventure. Joe worked in the service industry, at Ruby’s in Cincinnati and at...

We lost a good one over the weekend. I was in complete shock when I got the call from my old roommate Shawn. Joe had moved to New Zealand over a year ago and had been bouncing around that portion of the globe for a while. He was on his way back home for the holidays, stopping off in Laos for a three day thing before jetting off to California to hang out with Shawn, then off to Cleveland to be with family. He was about 100 feet in front of his traveling buddy on a scooter when he took...

Long time no write, I know. Sorry about that guys. I’ve been busy with trying to get work done, no gym, no yoga lately because of an odd shoulder injury. Not sure what happened but my left should has been bothering me lately so I’ve been taking it easy on the workout routine. One great piece of news though, I got a new client out of Washington state that promises to send me as much work as possible. Not quite my usual freelance rate but it’s consistent so it adds a heir of stability to my life that has been...

Matt and Bambi are now the very proud parents of a baby girl. Congratulations guys. I know it’s a little late but their new little bundle of joy was born over the weekend in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday night. Of course I was a bit mushy for the occasion but it’s all good. I got the video of her right after she was born around 1:52 am. Matt says she’s got a good set of lungs on her already. Huge congratulations guys and all the luck in the world to you!...

Monday morning is here once again. This past weekend was pretty mellow though there were some note worthy events. Jamie’s birthday was on Saturday so by chance I happened to run into them on Friday night. In the process of trying to watch a movie on Friday night Primecasts satellite connection went down (of course) so I headed downstairs to pick up a handful of movies from Netflix which were in my mailbox. I stepped out front for a few minutes when I ran into Jamie and friends waiting for the rain to pass. They were on their way to...

Well the weekend is over once again and now it’s time to get back to it. Overall it was a decent weekend though Saturday was pretty much non-stop rain. Friday night was spent just hanging out with Vinny down at his place. Zak and I had to walk down to Roxy’s to watch the Ohio State game since it wasn’t on anywhere in the building. It was a blowout but then again it should have been. Yesterday was by far the best day of the weekend. The sun was out and Jamie and I went for a morning ride up...
