Well it’s been a year, today, working as a full time salaried employee for SesameCommunications and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’d like to take a moment and just say thanks to those guys up in Seattle for not only getting me through a tough time but changing my life. Thank you so much. A while a go I recorded this little gem on my iPhone using the Suer8 video app. The film effect is pretty cool but the playing needs some serious practice…and my singing is not really what you’d call…good. Eh, but it’s something to post and share so here you go guys. Enjoy if you’re up for it. I literally learned this in about 20 minutes and tried to give it a shot on video. Bad idea…... Permalink

It’s been pretty uneventful around here lately so take a break and visit my favorite website, TheChive.com. It’s updated a few times a day and it’s always a good place to visit if you want to take a quick break during work. I actually am one of the lucky ones who got lucky and ordered a Chive T-Shirt before they sold out (which happens in about 30 minutes every time they come in stock). It looks like we got a live one. This one’s heading right for us and is more than likely the reason we’ll be getting some big surf this coming weekend. The Weather Channel has officially declared it a tropical storm and could possibly be a hurricane by weeks end when it hits South Florida. Damnit, and I was looking forward to hitting the concert this Wednesday with a bunch of my neighbors. According to their website: We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band’s international tour schedule. At least I hadn’t yet purchased tickets, Matthew and I were just going to scalp a couple at... This coming weekend is going to be an interesting one when it comes to surf (if the report stands the rest of the week). They’re calling for 12.5 foot surf coming this Sunday…now it’s just a matter of hoping it’s not some crazy wind chop. More than likely it will be but it should be fun regardless. It’s time to dust off the old Seven Fish and cross my fingers for some decent waves. Keep an eye on the surf cams, here comes some surf.... Permalink
