The day was another hot one but it was fun. Rode all morning, more exercises and the big test. My only falter was the figure-8 = minus 3 points. The rest was great (I think). Hey at least I didn’t get a -20 (-21 is a fail) like one of the riders. From there it was on to more class work then a crossword puzzle (yes, crossword puzzle) which actually helped. Next came the written test. 100%…nice. Only a complete moron could fail this class though, there was one other way you could fail… drop the bike. During our test one guy went through the obstacles just fine and when he took off for the next staging area, crashed into three other bikes and sending all four to the ground. Instant fail. Ouch. At least no one was hurt though one guy had a hole put in his helmet from the handlebars. Overall really stoked to get the endorsement and glad it’s over. All graduation gifts can be sent to me in large bill denominations, ha ha....

Some slow...

One step closer gear wise to making this motorcycle thing happen. I bought this off of my neighbor Jamie for $200 which is a real steal since it runs around $600 with tax at any motorcycle shop. Fits great though I’m not used to how freaking huge motorcycle helmets make your head look. At least it’s a quality helmet for the ole’ noggin....

Yup, I pulled the trigger on signing up for local riding classes. Yesterday Jamie (neighbor) and went to a motorcycle shop and I picked up some protective riding gloves or the occasion. Now I just need to get some ankle covering shoes and I’m pretty much all set. I think I’m going to buy Jamie’s extra brain bucket off of him for cheap as well. It’s a $600+ helmet for $200 so at least it’s a good one. It’s a large but it seems to fit my head fairly well, in fact I tried on both a large and a...
