Every once in a while I get a message from my old island buddy Elton Wheeler. It’s been almost 10 years since I last saw the bugger standing on a dock in Tortola (BVI) as I sailed back to the states. It looks like he’s doing well after graduating from university in South Africa. I guess he’s working for a large American Investment firm out of London. He sent over an invite for me to visit him in Los Angeles next week but with all of my recent travel time I doubt I’ll be able to make it. It would be nice to see my old friend again.
