Finally Getting Back To Normal

Well it’s been a rough few days. Monday was Mike’s last day in town and I dropped him off at the airport safe and sound early in the morning. I was sad to see him go but honestly it’s good to have my place back. It’s taken a couple days to get things clean again but it’s getting there. Now it’s just freelance, restocking the fridge and finishing up laundry. I know exciting stuff right?

Monday night was weird to say the least. No Trish, no Mike and it was eerily quiet in my house. Almost at no point in the last 8 weeks had I really had a chance to sit on the couch and relax. Oh and yeah, I said it… no Trish. That’s another batch of drama that hope is finally over. I think I’m actually going to try and stay out of my favorite bars around town over the weekend. Hopefully longer but I hate driving to a bar when there are so many locally. We’ll see how long that lasts.
