Today marked the first day at Boalt.com. I woke up at the usual time since I went to bed last night around 9:30 like an old man. So, of course I arrived at the office like an hour earlier than I was supposed to but no big deal. The day was a busy one to say the least. I basically worked on getting to know the systems, hooking up to the networks and just generally getting acclimated. I’ve got to get used to working till 6pm instead of 5.

The cool thing is that we’re about a block or two off of Clematis (see Halloween 06’) so there are options to go and eat for lunch. I made the mistake of picking one of the worst the first day so I guess I got that out of the way. Some little corner grease flinging joint. Never again.

I do need to bring in a few more things for the ole’ workspace but overall it’s going really well. I’d say a bit more but I’m completely wiped. Tomorrow’s my last (final) day at the old job then a half day at Boalt on Wednesday.
