I survived another Halloween weekend simply riddled with drama and now to add insult to injury I have to walk home in the dark because of freakin’ Daylight Savings Time. I really hate this time of year, the days are too short and even though the weather down here doesn’t change too drastically it feels even more like winter and I begin to feel depressed. No surf after work, no way. Not enough time before sundown. Now my only chance of catching some surf is on the weekends and even then it seems like a mission any more.
I spent Halloween in Lauderdale with friends and that’s pretty much where the rest of the drama began. It’s going to be an interesting week I guess. All I can do now is shake my head and hope for the best.
