Happy Birthday Bro

Today’s my little brother turns 19! Happy birthday Mike. He came down to stay with me for the summer about a week ago. So far I’m sure he’s been bored out of his skull as every kid out of college is looking for the same part-time job. I live in a fairly active area full of shops and restaurants but no one’s really hiring for the summer months yet. I’m sure he’ll find something soon.

In the meantime, relax bro. Chill by the pool and relax.

I’m taking the big guy to lunch today and Trish’s going to cook us dinner tonight. I had to stop off at Quicksilver and pick up a few things for him but I had to hide them downstairs at the front desk so Trish could pick them up and wrap them. Tonight’s birthday cake and presents. Just the way a birthday should be.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can’t express how much I appreciate what you are doing for Mike. He always said he wished he had a brother because his sisters have each other. Well, I guess that wish came true. It sounds like you have a great birthday planned for Mike. I just spoke to him to wish him a happy birthday and he was telling me about jobs, sunsets, weather, etc. Sounds wonderful!

    Enjoy your time together and have fun. Life’s too short.
