Finally the sun came back over the weekend and I was once again able to hang out on the beach. Saturday was pretty relaxing on Delray and Sunday the waves began picking up. By 3pm they were fairly rideable and as we all waited for the tide to drop the sets got better and better. I had the Robert August in the water for about 4 hours from 4:30 to 8:30 last night, catching everything I could. Dianna, Ramil, Mary and I all caught our fair shares of decent thigh-waist high sets. Lots of little cruisers, no crowd, both rights and lefts and and good people. Needless to say it was so nice to get in the water.
There may be some swell left this afternoon but only if you catch it on the right tide. We’ll see, here’s hoping.
