Not the storm… but the idiots and panicking crowds. I just ran out to the bank to cash a refund check from Nissan and there are lines around the block for most if not all local gas stations. Holy shit people, it isn’t the end of the world. We’ve all done this before, calm down and act normal. Or as normal as you can I guess. The local grocery stores are already out of water in some places and I heard Home Depot is a happening place to be.
The current models as of noon today still have it heading basically right over me. Take a look at where the line for Wednesday hits the east coast…. that’s where I live. It’s going to be an interesting week once again. Dean’s skipping town later today and going up to Cincinnati to hang with his girlfriend. The rest of the Luntz clan are pretty much all bugging out as well. Looks like we’re holding down the fort.
I’ve already gotten a few text messages and emails about whether or not I’m ready for this thing. The answer.. almost. I need to hit the liquor store and that should be about it. I doubt I’ll have a chance to pick up any ice over the next few days so I’ll just have to make due with what I’ve got. Canned food, water, dried goods, soups, batteries, weather radios and TVs, camping gear, flashlights and tarps (for broken windows) and coolers… check.
