My weekend consisted of surfing constant chop. I woke up early this morning and decided to head up to Jupiter and check out the waves. Whoa, big and powerful wind chop. The shore break was overhead and just getting in was a challenge in itself. I surfed Kite Beach for the most part, but the drift had me down close to the pier by the time I got out. I caught about 5 good bombs after a serious workout just getting past the break. Eh, I guess it was worth it. The rides were phenomenal and very fast, even on a longboard I had the fins humming in the water. Getting back out of the surf was a challenge as well (over head shore break once again) and I had my ass handed to me on one I rode in from waaay out on the outside.
I then headed over to the inlet where it looked like a zoo, over 200 people in water and easily 15-20 on each peak. I didn’t even bother getting in the water there, just chilled and watch the show.
Caught the 4pm Ashtanga yoga class at my gym and headed home to relax and watch a movie.
