Well, it looks like I was just a little off. Mom’s coming in next week, not this (past) weekend so now I’ve got to manage to keep my place clean for another week.

Other than the mix-up the weekend was good. Surf was up both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday all of the boys were out at Spanish River which was awesome. It’s been a long time since all of us were in the surf at the same time. Ramil, Pat, Dan and I surfed for a few hours before sundown on Saturday and though we missed Pat on Sunday, Frederico joined the ranks in his stead.

The surf was punchy but good for wind chop. Some shoulder high sets coming through from time to time and as the tide dropped the sets got even more interesting as they started sucking sand off the bar and slamming surfers on the bottom with a vengence. I had a few death drops, lip pitches and canon ball drops before we called it a day.
