Yesterday’s much anticipated surf session fell a little short as the wind subsided and the swell dropped. The good thing is that it wasn’t crowded, and after the downpour stopped the waves, however little they were, were absolute glass. Mostly they were coming in as thigh high glassy rollers and I must admit I caught my fair share of nice little rides almost making to the nose on two of them. Gotta love surfing a longboard, I can catch almost anything rideable. After about an hour and half in the water the swell dropped to almost nothing and the lineup was getting more crowded though no one was catching anything. South Florida surf desperation at it’s best.
If TS Alberto had gone straight across the state instead of heading north we’d be in heaven right now. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the next big storm.
One quick thing, good luck Flower. Everyone here is wishing you well
