Sunday afternoon I got the call there may be a little surf over at Palm Beach so obviously I had to take a quick run out on the motorcycle and check it out. Sure enough, there was a 1-3ft surf so I made a snap decision and packed up the board and headed out.
I recently bought a Mule surfboard carrier to make it easy to get the longboard out to the beach. I only have a crappy mountain bike so that made it a bit rough but it was worth it to get back in the water. I have a new bicycle coming later this week or early next week that’s just a beach cruiser so at least the ride will be more comfortable.
Lots of little rides and the oh so obvious smile on my face just for the sheer fact I got to go surfing. Not a bad Sunday afternoon.
