Sporting Leopard. Finally

Leopard OS 10.5.6
As you all know I’m kind of a design nerd/apple freak so this weekend I made the leap to Leopard (Mac OS 10.5.6) and so far I’m digging it. The upgrade was painless (so far) and the built in Time Machine is freakin awesome. It backs up my entire system to an external drive and allows me to recover anything with the click of a button. Now it’s just a matter of cleaning my laptop off since the OS sucked up another 9gigs above my old operating system.

So for most of the weekend I was on and off doing the update and messing with the new system. My only concern now is connecting to the office servers. We use DAVE networking utility for Macs and I’ve read a couple different things as far as reconnecting after the upgrade. One is that Leopard takes care of the network issues and two that DAVE needs an upgrade to work properly. So this morning’s a finger crosser.

I’d rather not upgrade as it’s like $70 but we’ll see. If I have to, I have to.
