After pretty much doing anything but cleaning up my place yesterday, I needed to get out of the house and check the surf. I headed to Delray around 2pm and was pleasantly surprised. Chest to head high surf and the tide was falling so it kept getting bigger and bigger. The outside sets were working but they were a bit inconsistent. I caught quite a few rides from the outside all the way to the beach. Thahn-Ha and her boyfriend were out as well so I at least had someone to surf with. Not that the line-up was empty, by any means. The headcount was around 40 or 50 so to say it was a bit crowded would be an understatement. The tough part was mowing through the crowd from the outside before taking a nice line. No worries though since you get to see the looks on everyone’s faces as you cruise by.
