No waves all weekend but overall it wasn’t too bad. Friday night in Delray was fun. I met Dan, Mary and Frederico down at Eros around 11:30 and went from there. After a few drinks and what not at the bar we all decided to head over Christine’s house for wine and an afterparty. I haven’t been up that late in a long time but the time just slipped away as 6:30 am rolled around in a hurry. I got home just as the sun was coming up and slept most of the day on Saturday. Wished it was raining outside but no, it had to be sunny and hot – just enough to make me feel guilty about being lazy all day.

Saturday night was uneventful as I just stayed in and vegged out. Sunday Dan, Frederico and I ventured on a surf shop trip hitting Boca Surf and Sail and Island Watersports in Deerfield. I broke down at Boca and picked up a new 7′ 7″ McTavish Surftec for the upcoming trip to Nicaragua. Also on the bill was a new travel board bad (huge, holds both longboard and the new McTavish) and a GoPro Digitial Hero cam for surf pictures from the water. I bought one a few years ago for our last trip but it was film. This ones about a third the size and digital so we’ll be able to get some nice surf shots.

The countdown’s down to about three weeks and we’re all getting pretty stoked. I need a vacation!
