The weekend was pretty cool. I picked up Mom at 11pm on Sunday and took Monday off to spend some time with her and her friend Missy. Woke up fairly early on Monday morning and headed down to the beach to catch some rays, and possibly some waves if available. There were some minor traces coming in so I ran home quickly to grab the longboard. It was barely rideable but at least she got a chance to see me surf for the first time.

We then went to lunch at the Old Key Lime House and then back to my pool for some more sun. On the way to the drop off point (the place on Alligator Alley where her friends from the west coast met us) I took them down to Sawgrass Mills outlet mall before they took off for Marco Island.

It was good as always to see her. Friday’s going to be busy though. Gotta get down to Alligator Alley to pick her and then off to the airport once again.
