Tyler’s Wedding

First of all let me congratulate both Tyler and Fayre. You made it. May you have a long and happy life together.

The entire weekend was about as fun as could get back home without being illegal. I arrived on Friday night and drove straight over to Mom’s house for a visit. I don’t get to see Mom enough so the trip was a good one as usual.

After I left it was another hour on the road but I was able to meet up with the crew up at AliveOne in Mt. Adams. Seth is still around kicking so I got to hang out with that kid for a while before anyone showed up. Our girl Nicole was manning the bar and taking care of us. Great to see you too chica! Once the wedding boys arrived from the rehersal dinner I knew there was going to trouble. Surface was already slurring pretty bad and had a gnarly case of the hic-ups. Even though I tried to tone everyone back we still had plenty to drink.

Woke up Saturday in Surface’s spare room safe and sound. Saturday was a busy day as well as I had to get to Ronouldo’s to get fitted for a tux. Once that was done it was Skyline time and a long nap on the couch as the boys were busy running errands. Beers for the pre-wedding stuff and getting ready. I didn’t have to be anywhere till 5, they had to do the photos around 2:45, which they were late because of some confusion but it all worked out.

My sis, Sheizka came down from Columbus after sitting in traffic on 71 for an hour. We rushed over to Tellers in Hyde Park for a couple drinks with a handful of people. Tommy, Kim, Steve, Chandley and Dorrie.

The wedding was awesome. Short and sweet but very well read and humorous. The church was beautiful and so was everything else. Tyler was a rock on the alter – way to go bro. Fayre, on the other hand looked like she was going to pass out but it all came together in the end. Big congrats once again guys.

The reception was great. Cincinnati Country Club. Most of my pictures are from the event so I won’t go into detail too much. After the reception it was off to MLT’s in Mt. Lookout for some more drinks and fun (still in tuxes by the way). Sorry ‘bout the camera Tommy – I’ll make it up to you. Next time just make sure I actually have it in my hands when you hand me something before you let go.

Sunday was a wretched miserable day. Rental car drop off around 10:30 am, airport terminal by 11, flight at 12 and home by 3. I hate flying hung over yet it seems to happen everywhere I go. At least on the way home that is, haha.

So that’s the scoup. I tried to upload some photos yesterday but not all of them made it up. Click here or the image above to see them (don’t worry, they’ll be up in entirety soon enough).
