The weekend was a good one overall. Friday remained pretty chill and Saturday was spent lounging on the beach waiting for surf, which didn’t quite show up. I was able to get in the water on Saturday for about an hour to surf tiny little knee high rollers but that was the extent of it. Saturday night was dinner in Delray at Kyoto.

Sunday I was laying around on the couch after breakfast when I got the call, “Delray’s 2-4 ft and building, get your ass down here!”. Cool, so I packed up the log and hit the beach once again. Lots of nice rides and some decent sized sets rolling in. Every once in a while a shoulder high set would roll through and open up. It was a great weekend to be on the beach, the sun was shining and the water was clear. Of course this is Florida so yeah, it was hot as hell but that’s to be expected.

So this morning I sit here in the office, sun burnt and sleepy but it’s all good. Is it too early to start looking forward to next weekend? ….Nah.
