That’s right folks, I finally made it back in the water after how many months. It was only wind chop and to be honest it wasn’t that easy to catch a good ride. Not to mention the hundreds of sharks in the water but it had to be done. I haven’t had surf in so long it was (kind of) worth the risk.

Barely rideable and only about 2-4 foot. Today should be a bit bigger but with bigger in West Palm that means dumpy so we’ll see what the surf looks like after work today.

The only reason I even know there were hundreds of sharks out yesterday is my neighbor, a kite boarder, stopped near my pack and warned us he’d been seeing hundreds of 5-6 foot sharks roaming the outer shoals. I personally didn’t see any and they do tend to stay away from the rougher areas of surf. If its not any better than yesterday I’m probably going to stay out of the water or head up to Jupiter and see if it’s any cleaner/less sharky up there.
